I still received the blue screen error message. I then tried booting in safe mode through msconfig. RUN CHKDISK /F TO CHECK FOR HARDDRIVE CORRUPTION, AND THEN RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. CHECK YOUR HARD DRIVE TO MAKES SURE IT IS PROPERLY CONFIGURED AND TERMINATED. REMOVE ANY NEWLY INSTALLED HARD DRIVES OR HARD DRIVE CONTROLLERS. Until I found these tips and I changed the BIOSįrom ACHI to IDE just like Russ. I thought something is wrong my new HP laptop. I have deleted and recreated Partition using BootIt(TM) Next Generation because I want to do multiple OS on this laptop. I have spent almost 5 hours to install windows 2003 server to my new laptop came with Windows 7. For now, time will tell if this works and I have no more issues with BSOD.Thanks both of you John and Rush. Also, sometimes it is difficult to pinpoint the cause if everything else is coming up negative. Reinstalled Win7 games from this site, extracted, opened, and happily I can report that they work! Found nothing and nothing came up so made a couple recommendations, one of which was installing Windows update. Spent most of the day waiting while various tests and scans were run. Having computer issues – BSOD four times in the last week with four different errors.
